ILOVE IT GRAET GAME!I need ur help with some thing pls help me.

The game looks interesting, but I'm left-handed and using a screen tablet,  so I can't see the game when I draw attacks.

(+6)

I really enjoyed this, but is there any chance you could include a left handed mode with the canvas on the left side?

When I saw a trailer for a game on Andyl4nd's channel, I immediately bought it and after about 1 and half hours of playing the game, I figured I might as well give my honest opinion on this game.

As a pixel artist myself, I've always admired Andyl4nd and his work, and his skills in bouncy, fun pixel animations are on full display here. Even the tilework for each floor is dripping with style.

Putting the graphics aside however the gameplay itself is nothing to scoff at either. It definitely reminds me of the 2016 Halloween Google Doodle, however, the different shapes you draw have many different effects, however, this has a major drawback as I could go through the game drawing the diamond shape and I basically cheesed the whole game. But the controls are still very snappy and I'm always happy to see a game that lets me use my drawing tablet. Overall very good work from Stepford.

And last but certainly not least; the music. The songs for each floor are very distinct and fun to listen to which means that there is only 3 right? ... wait a minute ... THERE'S 14?! Thank you Milkypossum, your work will sit proudly in my work playlist.

I highly recommend supporting this crew and putting in a few bucks before pressing that download button, and I definitely recommend giving this game a shot.

Aww! Thanks so much for the super kind review!

And yeah, the music is pretty damn sweet. <3

Really fun and unique game! The shape drawing reminds me of Black and White, but much more merciful. Great job!

Cheers! <3

Appreciate you making a video on it!

Awesome game, drawing mechanic didn't feel like an unnecessary gimmick and levels gave just enough challenge. Fever mechanic was very satisfying, and the final boss was well balanced.

Wish I knew what the "???" easter egg was a reference to

Love the idea of using a drawing tablet to attack the enemies. It makes it more immersive as I feel like I'm attacking it via the swiping of my pen. The pixel art and the music were fantastic as they worked well together to make an enjoyable experience. Even though the drawing at times may be finicky, with many mistakes made by doing a circle instead of a diamond, I still felt as if the game was not too punishing when spells weren't input correctly.  Overall a 10/10 for me :)

You should mark the build as "for windows" so people can download it on the official itch client

(+1)

Will do that now!

(+2)

if there isnt a dust easter egg im gonna scream

(+2)

great game! but, i'm left-handed so it's a bit difficult to use, plz add a left handed option, thx! :)

Prenote: Played without a drawing tablet.

An awesome concept that could be absolutely amazing if just polished a bit more. If you're thinking about giving this game a try, definitely go for it! You can see the effort put into it, but I feel as though a little more testing and feedback along with more time would have done wonders. Overall it feels like a diamond that is still in the rough. I would love to see more games give this style a go again. It gave me some nostalgia for old DS games.

The music and art style is exceptional, and I really enjoyed the concept of the game!  It's a bit of a mix between Brain Age and the ever so popular rouge-like game!  Sadly the execution is rather lackluster, while the main swipe attack works very nicely, the shapes are hard to register and you end up just getting the wrong spell, and the rooms are far too big with such a small screen on it, it makes running into enemies and dying instantly very easy to do.  I feel that if the rooms were put into sections, about the size of the screen, and the drawing was fixed to remove the size limits and register as shapes, as well as maybe increasing the game's overall speed, this game would be super fun!

What a great game, I loved the concept, I don’t think i’ve seen a game implement a tablet in its core mechanics as good as this, so fun!! never fail to amaze me
